Beginners will learn the basics of throwing clay on a pottery wheel: how to handle and center clay on the wheel, practice creating cylinders to shape bowls and cups and how to trim and prep work for firing. Intermediate students will learn to handle, make a teapot and start throwing larger amounts of clay. Each student will be met at their own level.
We provide all the things you’ll need to make the thing: clay, tools, glazes and the kilns to fire your work, along with an expert teacher who will be by your side to help you create something amazing.
